Cutting of tubes, profiles and flat steel products including laser cutting technology.

Kovona System offers wide technological possibilities of tube cutting, profiles and flat steel cutting including laser cutting technology and coil slitting technology.

Technological possibilities in coil slitting area allow cross and longitudinal cutting of coils. Specification of technological possibilities is as follows:

- Width of resulting strip from 16 mm.

- Input material thickness from 0.8 to 4.0 mm.

- Maximal width of input coil 1 550 mm.

- Maximal length of resulting sheets 4 000 mm.

- Raw material – hot rolled coil S 235, S 355, cold rolled coil DC 01 or galvanized coil.

- Maximal coil weight 27 tons.

 

Cutting of steel sheets on sheet shears is possible in this range:

- Maximal thickness 4 mm.

- Maximal width 3 000 mm.

 

Laser cutting of steel sheets is possible in this range:

- Maximal dimensions of input material 3 000 x 1 500 mm.

- Maximal thickness of ordinary steel sheet up to 15 mm and running meter weight limited by 35 kg.

- Maximal thickness of stainless steel sheet up to 8 mm and running meter weight limited by 35 kg.

 

Laser cutting is possible for tubes and profiles with following parameters:

- Tube diameter in range 16 – 225 mm.

- Maximal length 6 500 mm.

- Minimal dimensions of steel rod 16x16 mm.

- Maximal length of input rod 6 500 mm.

- Maximal length of finished part 6 000 mm and weigth limited by 100 kg.

 

Tube cutting and profiles cutting on NC cutting centre is possible in this range:

- Maximal length of input profile 6 500 mm, resulting part maximally 3 000 mm.

- Maximal thickness of input material 6 mm.

- Maximal dimensions of profile 80x60 mm, tube diameter 80 mm.

Cutting centre allows automatized deburring.
